Apoorvaa Foundation is the only organization in India who conducts bank seminars to keep updated bank employees on Credit Awareness and how to address credit issues. Till date Apurva Bhagat himself had conducted 400 Seminars.

Our Digital Transformation

Being a part of the Service Industry since 1998, we have always been advocates of using technology to serve better. In recent times we have had many developments towards extensive use of digital tools that not only helped us to save our time and energy but also provided a space to work from anywhere. Almost every business has some and other ways of paper to deal with, but we have made our system 90% paperless by upgrading our system by ensuring use of different digital tools to serve better.

As a part of a Professional Service Provider in Credit Rectification, our first work comes to provide a Credit Report so, by using PDF format, it has saved lots of paper, time to print, and it is easy to share with our client without their presence in office. We have 108 branches in India, so we need almost 50 to 80 reports per day, sending physical/hard copy is not at all feasible to provide quick service, but by a way of sharing through whatsapp in PDF format is helping us to save our lots time and at the same time we can provide insight analysis of Credit Report quickly. Same thing we do with providing quotations. All digitized.

Earlier while taking consent for Credit Report or Rectification Work, we need sign on Customer Agreement, but we have recently upgraded that system through E signing OTP based process so, now this is helping us in many ways such as, customer sign and consent become quicker, courier charges from either side has reduced, time also saved and work is also started on time etc. For this we have hired a cloud based system. OTP based processes help us to secure from any kind of fraud and misuse of data not just to us but also help clients.

And now we are working on work progress/updating system for clients through our website which enable clients to track their ongoing work and current status, so there will be no need to call to know from client side or our time spending on call will be reduced even we can also be updated with current status of ongoing work for each client and that will be handy whenever needed without flipping over papers and files. Just a click away only..!

Digitizing our organization has made us reach to any clients of any corner of India. Besides this we are using many digital promotional tools to create buzz for ourselves and control from one place.

This is all about clients and their engagement in our service but what about our Associate Partner who owns a branch from a different part of India? Yes, your guess is right that here also we have introduced digital orientated service and facility. Here comes Microsoft Team to start the initial phase of discussion. Besides this we opt for Zoom or any other meeting room.  Earlier we had training and other things in the training room, but now we are using these meeting tools to provide training, and some other discussion hence this helped us to grow rapidly and currently, we are present in 21 States of India. Here also our server based tool is used to clear all the processes to be Associate Partner which is again OTP based secure system.

We use all digital material and digital 3rd party tools to uphold ourselves. The concept of having Visiting Card is old enough and no one would really love to touch in recent time but our launch of Apoorvaa Digi Connect (a Digital V Card) for our Associate Partner is noteworthy digital move which is not just a small visiting card but a mini website that provide a space to reach to those who are not in front of us and Indeed this is a great decision of adhering digital form. Beside this our approach towards digitalization helped us to combat this pandemic situation easily with use of Microsoft Office App from Home as well as Google Drive hence our work was not hampered, but we walked extra one mile and achieved the milestone where we are today. Microsoft is an integral part of every organization hence we are no exception but our 80% data handling and managing work depends on Microsoft Office.

Virtual Meeting Tools and Conference have helped us a lot not just for external, but internal also this is helping us to keep safe distance, and also we can save time and energy to arrange set up for in house meetings.

We have planned to go 100% digitized in the near future with server based work, digital storage and set up which will help us to achieve 100% paperless work with our contribution towards saving resources, meanwhile we have accurate data and quick services.

Case Study before Digital Approach and After Digital Approach

Before Digital Approach

Mr. A had approached us for some credit issue, and he is not able to visit us at our office since we are not digital friendly and cannot provide service digitally because we need his documents, we need his consent, we need to provide him a hard copy report and after that we will proceed further. In this scenario we are on the way to losing our prospects.

Mr. A had approached us for some credit issue, and he is able to visit us at our office, but he has to carry his documents, he has to wait, he has to sign his consent to proceed etc. In this scenario he has to invest lots of time, and we also have to involve a dedicated person to get it all done and our lots of time also invested.

Mr. A has given us his rectification work, and the work is in process. For update either he has to call us or we have to update him which is time consuming and maybe we forget to update on time due to lots work and Mr. A is not happy with this. If he calls, we have to keep on hold to get his file and flip the pages to give him an update and Mr. A is really frustrated with the time taking process. In this scenario Mr. A has not so great experience with service.

After Digital Approach

Mr. A had approached us for some credit issue, and he is not able to visit us at our office. We asked him to provide his documents either by mail or whatsapp. We logged in our OTP based system for his consent, he signed digitally, credit report proceed fast, we have sent him digital copy either by mail or whatsapp, we have counseled him for his issue and provided remedial solutions, he agreed for further process, we proceed quotation, and sent him by either mail or whatsapp, he agreed, again we take his consent for work through our OTP based system. His work started within a moment. With little advance in using digital tools, our work completed in time and quickly. In this scenario we have retained a prospect and he is brand ambassador for our quick and prompt service now.  

Mr. A has given us his rectification work and the work is in process. As we are digitally integrated, he has to just login and get his current status of his ongoing work or if he calls us, we also are integrated with the back end system, just we click and inform him with current status without keeping him on hold or searching over files. In this scenario Mr. A is happy with our prompt service and recommended our service to his colleague who is also facing the same problem. 

Takeaway

For us, integrating our work with technology and digital tools is a great decision in terms of acquiring more productivity, less effort, in time service, easy accessibility, more accountability, multitasking, happy we and happy clients.
