The first and foremost thing to remember is do not start at one go but have one step at a time and also you can choose kind of challenges such as 30 days kick-start, 30 days abs challenge or anything of your choice.

The second important point is to stick to some printed program or schedule, so it will be easier for you to count your day-by-day progress and in this way you are more likely to avoid a day off.

The third point is important for those who are lazy bum to avoid or skip workout sessions. Keep a diary and jot down your feelings post workout, and you will notice high endorphins which will help you to stick to the routine without any miss.

The fourth point is most important when you set some goal to achieve out of your workout session. Keep in mind that the more realistic the goal means the more likely to keep going with your diet and workout routine. So be real while setting some goals.

The fifth point is try to increase your water intake and focus on a healthy diet as you have enjoyed enough with lots of freebies and food in your summer vacation and wedding. Increase the fresh, healthy, home cooked and seasonal food in your diet.

The sixth point to remember is that there is no compulsion to join a gym or involve a fancy diet in your meal, but you can plan your diet and workout with whatever you are consuming and doing in day-to-day life. And you are ready to keep yourself healthy.

The seventh point is linked to your sleeping habit. It is essential that you should have a healthy sleeping pattern and routine which will be beneficial in your fitness journey. Lack of sleep will cause fatigue and low energy.

The eighth point is to live in the present. After planning your workout and diet, in case you have missed one or two days, or you have some ice cream treat then do not panic and keep this guilt in the past and get back to routine again.

The ninth point is celebrating your achievement. Either you stick to routine for a longer period or you have some kg loss or you have inch loss. Celebrating or treating yourself will keep you going with your fitness routine and that will push harder to take on new challenges.

The tenth point is your choice to have a fitness buddy or not. However, having an exercise partner will help you to keep motivated to continue your workout routine, and also it will be fun to take challenges with each other. Studies show you will work out longer when you have a pal along.
