This plant grows about 30 feet outdoors, but it is restricted about 7 feet indoors. Put in a small pot and the crowded roots will help in limiting the size of the plants. The plant is useful in filtering the xylene and toluene from the air and works effectively as an effective humidifier. Water enough to keep the plant moist in summer and lets it dries little between watering in winter.
2 Peace Lily
This plant requires low to medium light and requires water when the top of the soil is dry. The graceful white spathes of the peace lily beautify the space wherever you keep it. Don’t overwater and you will notice a nice growth of the plant as it is more tolerant of under watering. This plant is also excellent air-cleanser
3 Spider Plant

Bight, indirect light and occasional watering make the spider plant one of the easiest to care for. If you see the plant turning a little brown, do not worry. It is normal and it will get back to its green self soon.

This plant is easy to grow and does not require your extra attention to survive as it needs light watering only after the soil has fully dried and this grows best in an indirect light. Place it in an elevated planter to pop out the empty corner of your home. Use free-draining soil to keep alive as it can easily rot.
5 ZZ Plant
A ZZ plant requires less water than other plants, so if you neglect them while watering, you will do well with them as over watering can damage it. This will tolerate little low light but keeping them in bright indirect light is advisable.
6 Rubber Plants
Like the ZZ plant, the Rubber plant also requires a bright indirect light. To keep it on its best, you should only water it when the soil is dry. This plant is the best natural air-cleanser. So you can place it near your favorite seating place and enjoy the fresh air.

Never wait till the soil is completely dry and also do not over water it or do not water them often, as this can cause root rot. Only water them when the top soil is just dry to the touch. This plant requires medium sunlight, so it is important to keep them in a light for 2-3 hours a day.
